GI Joe (On going IDW) #14

This week saw two releases from IDW's GI Joe line of Comics GI Joe on going #14 and GI Joe Origins #11. GI Joe on going #14 is picking up the story that was left off by #12. Snake Eyes in a time of healing has sought out his mentor for furthur training. while a undercover team of Bazooka, Scarlett and Duke seek out Dr.Orizama see what information they can gather on the MASS device experiment, but the joes werent the only ones seeking Dr.Orizama COBRA also needs the Doctors help in making the MASS Device fully functional.

I swear I really am enjoying this series quite a bit. So with that said I would like to send out big props to IDW for this series along with the origins series that IDW puts out monthly as well. The last issue in the on going line while it was good was more of a single self contained story that didn't really pertain too much in the over all plot of the series. But this issue put the action right back on track in series. The self imposed training aspect that snake eyes has put himself in this ish was very interesting to read. It's a great development utensil they could use to see what levels of development they could take Snake Eyes to in the series. speaking of development I'm really quite wondering when and if they are going to give us more background on the rift between Scarlett and Duke. The only reason I'm bringing that up is just at this point in my opinion it just seems a little forced on the reader. To tell you the truth I can't even remember if they really went into it at all.other then the whole she was backing Snake Eyes but if I remember correctly there was a rift before that point as well.But overall after reading this issue I'm really getting pumped to see next months book holds for us and where the story is going to go from this point
